About Us

We are Members of USFS and NEICC.

The Skating Club of Southern Connecticut was established in 1941 with much the same philosophies and ideals fostered by its current Board of Directors - CELEBRATING 66 YEARS OF SKATING EXCELLENCE !!

Our goal is to uphold those invaluable life lessons cultivated through the self-discipline and dedication required for proper sports training, the spirit of good sportsmanship honed on the field of competition, and the sense of camaraderie enjoyed through cooperative teamwork on Club projects.

Our Club offers ice sessions for Freestyle, Moves in the Field, and Dance practices throughout the year, and runs frequent test sessions for every skating level.

We also sponsor four USFS sanctioned competitions, including two basic skills competitions, our newly-founded and highly successful Terry Conners Synchro Open and The Darien Open, now in its 24th year, all of which are open to skaters all along the eastern seaboard.
